# Beginners Guide

Welcome to the server! Once you’ve logged in, there are many paths you can take on your **Cobblemon journey**.\
You can settle down and build a cozy home like a typical Minecraft playthrough or jump straight into the custom Cobblemon content.

Below are a few **important first steps** we recommend.

  You only get **one starter Pokémon**, so take your time and pick wisely.
* 🎁 **Claim Your Starter Kits**\
  Use your starting `/kits` to gear up and begin your adventure.
* 💰 **Earn Early-Game Money**\
  Consistently run `/memory`, `/sts` and `/bingo` to build up some quick starting cash.
* ⚙️ **Learn the RC Commands**\
  Get familiar with [Commands](/wiki/guides/commands.md) — these are essential for getting the most out of your experience.
