# Battle Factory

Put your battling skills to the test in the **Battle Factory**, a new challenge where you build and adapt your team as you progress through increasingly difficult trainers.

The Battle Factory offers two different modes, allowing you to choose how challenging you want your run to be.

***

## 🏭 Getting Started

Once you've arrived at the Battle Factory, speak with one of the **NPCs in suits** to begin your run.

You'll be given two options:

* 🟢 **Regular**
* 🔴 **Hardcore**

***

## 🟢 Regular Battle Factory

Regular Battle Factory starts you off with a team of **3 Cobblemon**.

Your first opponent will have a team of **Level 50 Cobblemon**.

After defeating an opponent, you'll have a choice:

* 🔒 **Keep your current team**
* 🔄 **Replace one of your party members** with one of the opponent's Cobblemon

Each time you win a battle, the level of the trainer you face will increase by **1 level**.

This means your opponents will gradually become stronger as you continue your run.

***

## 🔴 Hardcore Battle Factory

Hardcore follows the same basic concept as Regular Battle Factory, but with one major difference: **your battle progress carries over between rounds.**

Any damage your Cobblemon have taken and any **PP they have used** will remain after each battle.

Fainted Cobblemon are also **permanently lost** for the duration of your run.

This means every decision matters. Managing your team's health, PP, and replacements becomes increasingly important as you progress.

***

## 🔄 Build & Adapt Your Team

The key to progressing through the Battle Factory is knowing when to change your team.

While you may start with a strong team, eventually the increasing levels of your opponents can become too much to overcome.

Taking Cobblemon from defeated trainers allows you to continuously upgrade your team and keep up with the increasing difficulty.

> 💡 **Tip:** Don't be afraid to replace your Cobblemon. Over time, the other trainers will gain enough levels to overpower a team that hasn't been upgraded.

## 📍 Access

Use the following warp to enter the Battle Factory:

```
/warp battlefactory
```

Once inside, speak with the NPCs in suits to choose your battle mode and begin your challenge.

> If you get disconnected within the Battle Factory, talk to the NPC in the suit to resume your run!
